RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD and automated testing pipelines
- Implement disaster recovery plans
- Monitoring and maintaining Linux (Ubuntu and Debian) servers including deployment and support of Open Source infrastructure components, Virtualization environments
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to installations, configurations, processes, and service records
- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility
- Scripting with Perl, Python for automating system tasks
- Monitoring of IT systems
- Off-hours work (evening, weekend) as required by change control procedures and priorities
- Oversee data center backup architecture including care and maintenance
- Business trips to Headquarters or offsite datacenters if required
Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of Linux (currently Ubuntu and Debian)
- Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Bamboo, TeamCity
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, etc. (Infrastructure as code)
- Experience in building, running and scaling micro-services
- Familiar with containerization platforms, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and LXC
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios, Icinga, Graphite, etc.
- Good understanding of Networking fundamentals
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail
- Communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives
- Requires a minimum of 2-4 years related work experience
